Residential Smoke and Fire Damage

The sooty grease fire from the kitchen reached all rooms, hallways, and nooks and crannies of this home in Florida. SERVPRO of Altamonte Springs / Longwood technicians use chemical sponges and detergents to wipe away most of the residues without smearing. Homeowners appreciate restoring rather than replacing porous surfaces.

Sometimes after a fire in your business or home an emergency board up is required in order to make it secure.  Sometimes it is necessary for the fire department to be destructive to the structure in order to put out the fire safely.

Insulation Damage During a Fire.

Often times when your home is affected by fire damage insulation will fall from damaged ceiling by the fire and or by the addition of water to put out the fire department. This makes the clean up process a little more extensive.

Fire and Smoke Damage in a Longwood Town Home

This fire started with a lightning strike while the couple was downstairs.  It didn’t take long for them to realize that there was something terribly wrong.  Once they realized that upstairs was on fire they immediately called 911.  The fire department was able to put out the fire without having cause too much additional damages.  We were able pack their contents as well as provide a detailed inventory of what was taken off site.  Once off site we were able to do a detailed cleaning and deodorization of their contents.  We repacked them and stored them offsite until the homeowner’s home was ready to put their home back together.

Smoke Damage in your Altamonte Springs Home

This was an accidental fire in a kitchen when someone left a wreath on the stove, creating a missive amount of black smoke.  In order to remove the soot we began with a process of removing the surface soot with the a special sponge that aids in removing any surface soot without causing further damage.  Once all of the soot was removed we were able to further the cleaning process and eventually make it Like it never even happened.
