Smoke Damage to Hardwood Floors in an Altamonte Springs home

Fire and smoke damage can be devastating to everything in your home from your all contents to your structure itself. Luckily there are procedures that can be done to most materials to salvage them if the soot damage is not too sever.  In this Altamonte Springs townhome, the neighboring townhomes' refrigerator caught fire causing significant smoke damage to both units.  After removing all the affected contents and cleaning the walls we were also able to salvage the wood floors. We did this by using a cleaning process that required several steps, some of which had to be repeated in order to properly get the odor and soot from the floor.
